Executive Board and Advisors

Currently, a five-member Board of Directors, and two executive officers, govern Hampton Cove Christian Academy.

Board of Directors. Entrusted to three permanent board seats and two elected seats, these five men and women (two of whom also serve as Trustees) are dedicated to creating a long-term vision of academic excellence, and to maintain school policies that further advance our mission – that is, to instill in our children the importance of family values, and teach them how to live life according to God's unchanging and infallible word. 

In addition to this tall order, the Board of Directors also selects and oversees the actions of the HCCA School Principal.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. Matthew 18:20

Executive Officers. Fulfilling administrative responsibilities in accordance with Biblical principles, both the school Founder and school Principal are the administrative and operational leadership team of HCCA. Where the Founder's Chair provides insight to the Board and school Principal, the Principal is responsible for executing daily operations.

Advisory Board. The Advisory Board, when established, will be made up of seven representative men and women, HCCA's temporary Advisory Council is currently a working coalition of appointed members consisting of a Board of Trustees and executive officers who present ideas and make recommendations to the Board of Directors. They in turn, finalize decisions regarding the best means for achieving the school's mission, and fulfilling the school's long-term vision.

Required to be in good standing with HCCA, future Advisory Board members will be appointed by the Board of Trustees. The Advisory Board will consist of the current Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) president and represents the body at large. It will also include a Trustee who delegates oversight responsibility for financial decisions. The remaining five at-large members serve in rotating three-year terms.
