Our Core Values

Educational Philosophy

We firmly believe that it is Hampton Cove Christian Academy's excellent academic instruction, presented in a wholesome, Christian-based learning environment, combined with the consistent involvement and participation of parents in our daily programs that clearly sets us apart from all the rest.

We believe that academic excellence is never an accident. It is the result of commitment and hard work on the part of the teachers, as well as the students. It is building a comprehensive, educational curriculum that is centered on the fundamental principals of Christianity and includes the arts, history, geography, the sciences, math, the languages, reading and writing.

We believe that it is this early, broad-based approach to Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten education that helps to establish a strong foundation for future learning experiences in children. Combine this positive, hands-on approach with the most up-to-date materials and technologies in the area of staff training, administration and classroom instruction, and you will understand why so many parents agree that:

Hampton Cove Christian Academy is...

"The Quality Alternative" to public school  Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten and Early Elementary school programs.

Statement of Values

The following Statement of Faith affirms Hampton Cove Christian Academy's commitment to live according to God's unchanging and infallible word.

  1. HCCA believes the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

  1. HCCA believes there is one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19)

  1. HCCA believes in the deity of Christ (John 10:33), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), His resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the father (Mark 16:19), and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).

  1. HCCA believes in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace and through faith are we saved. (John 3:16-21, 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5)

  1. HCCA believes in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)

  1. HCCA believes in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28)

  1. HCCA believes in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18)

Our Vision

In the pursuit of Our Goal of "Academic and Spiritual Excellence," HCCA is committed to serving Our Purpose and to "Keep Jesus Smiling" in all that we do -- focusing first on Our Core Values of "Health and Safety" and then on providing a warm, nurturing learning environment  for every child  that is rich with opportunity, creativity and the character of Christ.

When it comes to implementation of this God-directed Vision, HCCA firmly believes that every staff person is uniquely and individually called to be a "servant-leader," pursuing all that is noble and excellent in our students, our school family and, ultimately, in ourselves.

Most importantly, HCCA embraces, in faith, the belief that every staff person is here, in the place God has called us to be, to serve you...our families and parents...by helping your children grow into secure, educated and well adjusted young men and women, fit for an abundant and joyful life of Christian service.

"In our quest for excellence, we should not desire to receive acclaim from the world but to honor God, whose very name is excellent." Psalms 8:1

Mission Statement

HCCA firmly believes that Our Mission, as Christian educators, administrators and teachers called by God, is to faithfully serve our community and families by helping their children grow, as the scripture requires, into secure, educated, well-adjusted young men and women, fit for abundant and joyful lives of Christian service.

The Bible states in Luke 2:52 that, "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." Children today grow in these same ways. They grow in "wisdom" (mentally), in "stature" (physically), in "favor with God" (spiritually) and in "favor with men" (socially).

Our Purpose

HCCA is a place where families and children come together in community for the main purpose of making Jesus smile.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Mat. 19:14

Our Goals

HCCA's goal for every child is "Academic and Spiritual Excellence" provided in a healthy, safe, warm and nurturing, learning environment that is rich with opportunity, creativity and the character of Christ.

"Now this is eternal life; that they may know you, the one true God and Jesus Christ," (John 17:3) and therefore, to lay Christ in the bottom as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning. (New England's First Fruits, Harvard College 1648)
