Infants and Toddlers (6 wks - 2 1/2 yrs)

Children of this age group are provided with a great deal of personalized loving attention and verbal stimulation from their teachers, as well as being given the chance to explore and discover for themselves. Hand/eye coordination activities, visual and auditory stimulation, motor development activities and memory games allow your infant or toddler to grow and learn at their own pace. Progress reports are given to parents daily for review and discussion.

Beginners and Three's (2 1/2 yrs - 3 yrs)

The A Beka curriculum begins in our Beginners Room.  A strong Christian phonics-based program, A Beka gives our children the solid foundation they need as they begin their preschool experience. Progress reports are given to parents daily for review and discussion. And when it's time for toilet training, Hampton Cove Christian Academy devotes special care and understanding.

Quality Christian educational pre-school programs are a feature at Hampton Cove Christian Academy. These programs include specially prepared curricula and lesson plans which focus on fundamental skills development in the areas of cognition, language and small and gross motor skills, as well as an emphasis on physical, social and emotional development. Children are also encouraged in basic hygiene and home living skills.

Pre-Kindergarten (4 yrs - 5 yrs)

The pre-kindergarten program at Hampton Cove Christian Academy is a uniquely Christian-based program that provides the children with a basic, well-rounded educational foundation for future experience and prepares them for school. Our specially designed hands-on approach to learning emphasizes phonics, reading, writing, numbers, colors and simple arithmetic, as well as the development of language skills, listening skills, visual perception and motor skills. This individualized instruction is combined with much positive reinforcement and attention.

Mother's-Morning-Out (18 mo - 3 yrs)

In an effort to better serve our communities' families who may not need full-day child care or pre-school for their children, Hampton Cove Christian Academy is proud to offer a "Mother's Morning Out" Program for children ages 18 months through 3 years old. Open daily from 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (Monday–Friday), these drop-in classes feature the same high quality, Christian-based learning environment as Hampton Cove Christian Academy's other full-day programs.

When compared with other area Mother's Morning Out programs, HCCA offers lower teacher/pupil ratios, longer hours, more creative hands-on arts and crafts, music appreciation and a variety of other stimulating learning activities and play groups. In addition, HCCA offers a hot nutritious lunch and morning snack daily to all students.
