Open Door Policy
Parents are welcome and invited to visit our Academy at any time during school hours provided you check in with the office upon arrival. This allows for much flexibility and convenience for you to come in and discuss your concerns and/or the progress and development of your child. Please help us by making prior arrangements with the front office if would like to be our guest for lunch, have grandparents visit, would like to volunteer, or are a nursing mother, to ensure proper procedures and planning.
Parent Teacher Meetings
Hampton Cove Christian Academy believes that the successful mental, physical and spiritual development of the child is important, and that it involves teamwork, communication and commitment on the part of the parents, as well as with the teachers. With HCCA as a partner in the care and education of the child, we will ensure that this process is of the highest quality.
HCCA places a great deal of emphasis and effort on attendance at Parent Teacher Meetings (PTMs), not only to keep you apprised of your child's progress in the classroom, but also to inform you of any changes in their programs, curricula and activities.
Family Orientation Night
All students and at least one parent are expected to attend the initial Orientation Meeting. The School Calendar will be mailed to you in July. For those who do not attend this meeting, there is a $10 late orientation fee per student, and you will be required to make up the time with your child's teacher.
