Computer technology is used, in a supervised environment, to help supplement classroom instruction and provide students with greater opportunities to explore and discover for themselves.

 Pre-Kindergarten

Utilizing the A Beka "ABC-123" Series for pre-schoolers, Hampton Cove Christian Academy introduces a comprehensive, ‘hands-on-approach' to learning and academic instruction by presenting it in a colorful and exciting format.

This educational and entertaining pre-school curriculum was specially designed to provide your child with a basic, well-rounded educational foundation and to prepare them for school. It emphasizes phonics, letters, writing, numbers, colors and simple arithmetic, as well as whole language development, listening skills, visual perception and motor skills. Individualized instruction is always combined with much love, positive reinforcement and personal attention. Weekly computer instruction is also provided in a supervised setting by experienced staff to supplement classroom instruction.

 Kindergarten

Combining lower student/teacher ratios with the most up-to-date educational materials and software, from the highly-acclaimed A Beka Kindergarten Series, Hampton Cove Christian Academy presents students with a full-day ‘quality alternative' to public school programs.

Taught by degreed teachers on an individualized level, HCCA's intensive phonetic approach to grammar and reading is in dire contrast to the public school methodology of rote memorization and site-based recognition techniques. HCCA's specially prepared curriculum also emphasizes the development of writing and emerging arithmetic skills, as well as fostering an appreciation for art, history, geography, the languages and science.

Computers and instructional software are used on a weekly basis to supplement and reinforce classroom activities.

First through Third Grades
