Daily Activities
HCCA daily classroom activities are well-rounded, balanced, and fun. As you look over the daily activities for your child's age group, keep this approach to learning in mind. The Book of Ecclesiastes sums up this philosophy best:
I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it.
HCCA children find time to play, time to learn, time to discover, time to share, time to eat and drink, and even time to nap!
Each classroom schedule is planned around lunch and playground times. Teachers attempt to stay on schedule as close as possible, but if they deviate, they resume regular schedules as soon as possible. It has been proven that when class subjects remain consistent within their scheduled time, anticipated goals are more likely to be reached on schedule as well. Teachers utilize every minute of teaching time available to them, and post their classroom schedule outside their classroom doors.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:1
